As the plane prepared for take off, I tucked in my seat belt and expected to doze off as I’ve usually done in the past. My inquisitive bright eyes however wouldn’t let me sleep; and soon, I was staring through the window. As the plane finally took off, the mighty high rise buildings in Accra looked as though they were ants; the vast expanse of the sky as though it were nothing. The seas had no boundaries and the mighty Deserts of the Sahara appeared as though it was clay.
I’ve been blessed with the opportunity of flying to a number of countries around the world, but the beauty, splendor and magnificence of our world never dawned on me till my recent trip to Dusseldorf in Germany.
Cities appeared as though they were a pattern of light puzzled on a maze.
I murmured to myself: “Who made all these?”
Then I remembered Isaiah 40:26:
Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.
For “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
This is why unbelievers will be without excuse on the day of judgement;
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Romans 1:20
God made them all! My redeemer lives, Hallelujah!
